BTX Antifracture Membrane 500 sq ft kit

BTX Membrane is used extensively in high rise buildings and malls to provide waterproofing and crack resistance for thin-set ceramic, stamped overlayments, terrazzo, quarry and stone tile. This membrane can be installed over any sound subsurface. BTX is a thin load bearing anti-fracture waterproof membrane. BTX is composed of 1075 Liquid, an asphalt modified latex elastomer and reinforced with 1075 polyester fabric. BTX provides a trowel applied monolithic surface. Its thin section approximately 1/16-inch, provides excellent elongation, strength and positive waterproofing while inhibiting the transferal of cracks from the substrate to the finished surface. The BTX membrane is installed in a semi-fluid state and can be applied to practically any form or irregular shape (i.e. parapets, walls, base flashings etc.)
